Son Cladera

Son Cladera is a small, uncomplicated finca in the rural south-east of Mallorca – ideal for families or two couples who want to stay away from the crowds yet reach the east-coast coves quickly.

The finca has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps up to six plus a baby. Two rooms have a double bed (160 × 190 cm and 150 × 200 cm); the third has two single beds that can be pushed together or apart. An extra bed can be booked.

In the living room a fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere in cooler months; the living room and one bedroom have air conditioning that can also heat. The open kitchen is fully equipped, and outside there is a terrace with barbecue and wide views across the countryside.

Location & surroundings

Son Macià is a small village in the municipality of Manacor, surrounded by fields, dry-stone walls and almond trees. Life here is quiet and authentically Mallorcan; the town of Manacor, with supermarkets, a weekly market and the Rafa Nadal Museum, is about 10 minutes by car.

Some of the east coast's loveliest coves are close by: unspoilt Cala Varques, Cala Romàntica and Cala Mendia are each about 8–9 km away as the crow flies, and Porto Cristo with the famous Caves of Drach is quickly reached. Palma airport is about 45–50 minutes' drive.
