Holiday home Caldentey is a lovingly restored retreat for two in the small village of Ariany – with its own pool, its own plot and plenty of Mallorcan tranquillity.

The house has been restored to a high standard with great attention to detail and newly furnished in a modern style. For two people there is one bedroom and no fewer than two bathrooms, one with a bathtub – unusually comfortable for a couple's retreat.

Outside, the terrace, barbecue and private pool sit on a separate plot, so you won't be disturbed. Air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a washing machine make sure you have everything you need, even for a longer stay.

Location & surroundings

With around 900 inhabitants, Ariany is one of Mallorca's smallest villages, set in the agricultural Pla de Mallorca between Petra and Maria de la Salut. There are no tourist crowds here – just almond groves, windmills and village bars serving café con leche in the morning.

Petra, with its wineries and the Ermita de Bonany hermitage, is only a few minutes away. The beaches on the Bay of Alcúdia – Can Picafort and Son Serra de Marina – are around 20–25 minutes by car, Palma airport about 35–40 minutes.
