Location & surroundings

Vilafranca de Bonany is a quiet village in the eastern Pla de Mallorca, known for its melons and apricots – in September the village celebrates its melon fair. Above the landscape stands the Ermita de Bonany hermitage with glorious panoramic views. Petra, Manacor and Sineu market are quickly reached.

The central location makes excursions in every direction easy: east-coast coves such as Cala Varques and Cala Romàntica are about 17 km away as the crow flies (around 25–30 minutes), and Palma airport is about 30–35 minutes via the motorway.
