Marratxí borders Palma to the north-east. The old town with its cathedral, shopping streets and tapas bars is about 10 minutes away, the airport about 15 minutes. Nearby are large supermarkets and the Mallorca Fashion Outlet with many brand stores and restaurants.

The nearest beach, Platja de Palma, is about 10 km away; the beaches of Cala Major and Illetes are around 20 minutes by car. The central location makes day trips to the Tramuntana or the south easy.
