Son Massip

Son Massip is a cosy, peaceful house in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, between Puig Tomir and Puig de Galileu – a natural retreat with mountain and sea views, perfect for hikers, cyclists and anyone wanting to switch off.

The house sleeps four in two bright bedrooms with built-in wardrobes and views of the landscape; there's also a sofa bed. Two full shower rooms, a spacious living and dining room with fireplace and wood stove, and a fully equipped kitchen opening onto nature make your stay snug – even on fresh mountain evenings.

Outside there's a large terrace with mountain and sea views, a barbecue area for alfresco meals and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Many hiking and cycling routes start right at the house.

Location & surroundings

The house lies in the municipality of Escorca near Lluc, in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Lluc monastery, the island's spiritual centre, is very close; the GR 221 long-distance trail passes through the area, and the Ma-10 mountain road is legendary among cyclists.

Pollença with its Calvari steps is about 25 minutes away, the beaches of Port de Pollença and Cala Sant Vicenç about 30–35 minutes, and the spectacular bay of Sa Calobra via the hairpin road. Palma airport is about an hour's drive.
