Casa Roel

Casa Roel sits on a small headland on the edge of Cala d'Or – with private access to the sea, a mooring for yachts up to 25 metres and a lagoon pool over 25 metres long with a waterfall. A rare combination on Mallorca's south-east coast.

More than 850 m² of living space on 4,500 m² of Mediterranean grounds, modern architecture and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the sea into every room. The roof terrace overlooking the coast is the place for sunset; meals are served beneath the century-old olive tree in the garden.

For wellness and entertainment there is a sea-view gym, sauna, hot tub, cinema room, games area and two fully equipped kitchens – ideal with a private chef too. Daily cleaning, bathrobes and towels and standard energy use are included.

Important for booking: the base price covers the guest wing with five suites for up to ten people. The sea-view master suite can be added for a supplement, as can two extra rooms on the lower floor. The house sleeps a maximum of twelve.

Location & surroundings

South-east Mallorca is known for turquoise coves set between pines and rocks. Cala Serena is only about 220 metres away, and the centre of Cala d'Or with its marina, restaurants and bars about 1 km. The fishing town of Portocolom is around 10 minutes away, the natural cove of Cala Marçal about 15 minutes.

This coast is one of the island's finest sailing areas; to the south, Mondragó Natural Park and the famous Cala s'Almunia are well worth a trip. Palma airport is around 45 minutes away, Palma about 55 minutes.
