Vista Mar - Font de Sa Cala

Vista Mar stands on the seafront at Font de Sa Cala, between Cala Ratjada and Canyamel in north-east Mallorca. What makes it special: you can enjoy the view of the Mediterranean even while swimming in the pool – and from the bedrooms.

The 450 m² house sleeps up to ten in five bedrooms (four with double beds, one with two singles) and four bathrooms, one en suite, plus a guest WC. Its construction and furnishings follow the traditional Mallorcan style with built-in wardrobes and rustic charm, combined with a modern kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster.

The centrepiece is the large covered terrace right by the pool: two archways with curtains recall Moorish architecture and frame a large dining table and a rattan lounge. The sun terrace with loungers is surrounded by pines, palms and Mediterranean shrubs. Tourist licence: VT/1520.

Location & surroundings

Font de Sa Cala is a quiet coastal spot on the east coast with a small swimming cove. The wide sandy beach of Canyamel is about 2.5 km away; close by are the Coves d'Artà caves and the medieval Torre de Canyamel. Cala Ratjada with its harbour, promenade and the beaches of Son Moll and Cala Agulla is around 10 minutes away.

The north-east offers golf courses at Canyamel and Capdepera, Capdepera castle and hiking trails in Llevant Natural Park. The drive to Palma airport takes around 70 minutes.
