Ses Cases – formerly Son Sureda – is a romantic, self-contained home on a rural estate near Manacor, with dreamy views across the island to the Tramuntana mountains. Sheep in the neighbouring fields, birdsong in the trees – yet Manacor is 10 minutes away and the sea around 15.

You enter through the living area with its modern kitchenette (microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment). Three bedrooms – two with double beds, one with two singles – and two bathrooms, one en suite, sleep six.

In front of the house is a terrace with seating, and ten metres away the pool terrace with dining table, built-in barbecue and a small lawn. The 10 × 5 metre pool is for your exclusive use; built-in steps lead into a 1.10 m deep section, then it slopes to 1.80 m. The retired owners also live on the estate but appear only when wanted – and offer seasonal fruit and vegetables from their garden free of charge. Tourist licence: ETV/5277.

Location & surroundings

The finca lies in the countryside north of Manacor, halfway to the Bay of Alcúdia and the north-east coast. Colònia de Sant Pere, a small, quiet resort with a harbour and seafood restaurants, is around 15 minutes away, as is the natural beach of Son Serra de Marina.

Manacor with its markets and shops is 10 minutes away, Artà and Llevant Natural Park about 25 minutes. Palma airport is around 45 minutes by car.
